NEW LEAF (STOP SMOKING SERVICE)
This is the specialist Stop Smoking Service.  Details are available at reception. 
We have a New Leaf advisor on a Thursday morning (by appointment 0800 389 7712) but other sessions are held at a variety of venues, some in the evenings or on Saturday mornings.  Ring New Leaf for details.

The effects of smoking on health are well known. Giving up smoking is the most important thing any smoker can do for their future health. The development of a smoking cessation service is a high priority to our practice.

POSITIVE MOVES
Positive Moves is a local initiative aimed at encouraging healthier living by encouraging participation in planned exercises.  Please ask our practice nurses if you think you would be interested.

HEALTHY EATING

 Choosing the right food for good health is very important.  Eating a good balance of food, taking regular exercise and not smoking gives the best chance of living a fit and healthy life.
If you have a medical condition please check with your doctor before altering your diet.  Remember eating well is about balance.  For example we do need fat in our diet but not too much!
