For patients concerned that they may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, the NHS 111 online service has created coronavirus pages that tell patients what they should do based on their particular circumstances. These can be accessed at:

If you think you have been in contact with coronavirus DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY. Self-isolate if you have symptoms and check the guidance as above.
If you do not have access to a computer ring the surgery for advice.
Please do not make unnecessary visits to the surgery:
- ask for a telephone appointment if you feel your problem can be dealt with on the telephone
- arrange for your prescriptions to be sent directly to a community pharmacy rather than be picked up in person
- ask reception for access to on-line appointment booking and ordering of repeat prescriptions
- we are using text questionnaires for some routine checks i.e. for asthma reviews please respond to these if you can it will save you coming into the surgery
- we have currently suspended our travel immunisations service, follow Foreign Office advice if you are considering travelling abroad
Other guidance:
- wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds ensuring thumbs, fingernails and the backs of the hand are well washed. Use a disposable towel to dry.
- use disposable tissues to catch a cough or sneeze and dispose of them carefully
- remember social distancing rules
- follow Government advice on what you can and can not do according to your area’s status
