Pneumonia vaccine is now recommended for all patients over the age of 50 and certain other groups of patients. Flu vaccination takes place annually in September to November for patients over 50 and other patients at risk – those with diabetes, heart or stroke disease, asthma requiring regular preventer inhalers.
