Extra evening and weekend appointments available in local area

You can now book routine GP and Nurse appointments in the evening, at weekends and over bank holidays in your local area.

Pre-bookable appointments are available Monday-Friday, 6.30pm-8pm, plus weekends and bank holidays and you can be seen by a GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant.

To book your appointment, contact the surgery during normal opening hours. Please be aware that the appointment may take place at another GP Practice in the area.

Out of Hours Services

Outside normal surgery hours (evenings, weekends and bank holidays) emergency cover for the practice is provided by NEMS Community Benefit Services Ltd Out of Hours service. The Out of Hours service provides medical care for patients that do not need Emergency Department Care. It is a service that is led by a range of clinical staff such as GPs, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Emergency Care Practitioners.

This service is for problems which cannot wait until the next available surgery. You will be required to provide full information about your problem and will be expected if required to attend Platform One Practice (based on Station Street, Nottingham) if necessary. Advice may also be given if attending for a face to face appointment is not deemed to be required.

During out of hours you should contact the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not a life threatening situation.

Book Online

It is now possible to book, view and cancel your doctor's appointment on line. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Before you can start using this online service you need to obtain a user name and log in from reception. Once they have given you a printout containing these details you can book an appointment by clicking the link at the top of this page, this will then re-direct you to the Systm One online booking service.

Book by Telephone

To make an appointment by telephone please ring the surgery on 0115 9872545 during reception hours.

Routine Appointments

We will always try to give you the earliest appointment but if you wish to see a specific doctor it may be necessary to wait a day or so.

If you have more than one medical problem to discuss with your doctor please book one ten minute appointment for each problem. This is to ensure you have enough time with the GP and appointments do not run late. When you book your appointment let our receptionists know you require a longer appointment to discuss more than one condition and they will sort this out for you.

Monday evening appointments are strictly pre-arranged.

Chaperone

Should you require a chaperone during your consultation please advise the GP or Practice Nurse

Urgent Appointments

If you need an urgent same day appointment please tell the receptionist when you phone and you will be seen as an emergency by the first available doctor.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
